I got that, but the first sentence says

"Interesting, as there were no 2004 996 Turbos made." I wasn't sure what that meant.

+1, belongs in the prestige thread.

Painted center console + full CF interior looking good. CF interior actually looks to still be in good shape as far as I can tell.

Just gotta fix those wheels.

low miles, but certainly used for what they built it for.

Thats is a lot of car for the money! Especially if the all the components for the Gt2 front end were done properly. Good luck, hopefully meets your wants/needs.

I agree! It's probably more car than I would ever need, but it also has a lot of stuff I would eventually do (intercoolers, hybrid turbos)

The heavy tracking is a bit of a concern, but I think it's been very well maintained.

I've been researching and working on finding a tt deal. I've noticed a market trend. It seems like the ultra low mileage (25K miles) garage queens are going for $55K-46K. The market price then drops $3-5K for each additional 25K miles until you reach 75K miles; then you loose $10-12K for the next 25K miles.

I wonder if it would be a better strategy to buy into a garage queen and then plan on selling it before you reach 75K miles?

Currently, I'm looking at 2: The first is the one I previously posted on from Colorado with 25K miles. The second is more local to me: https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/inventorylisting/viewDetailsFilterViewInventoryListing.action?sourceContext=carGurusHomeP age_false_0&newSearchFromOverviewPage=true&inventorySearchWidgetType=AUT O&entitySelectingHelper.selectedEntity=c3394&entitySelectingHelper.selec tedEntity2=c3381&zip=97305&distance=500&searchChanged=true&transmission= M&trimNames=Turbo&modelChanged=false&filtersModified=true#listing=184281 020

What are your opinions on these two?

That socal car would be an awesome track car, but it might be a bit rough and noisy as a daily driver and long trip car. Major bang for the buck if you want those type of mods. My car is approaching the threshold of acceptability for a long commute car and i am at about 20% mod wise of that car.

I don't think there is a reliable formula for pricing these cars based solely on the mileage. These cars last a long time and can run a lot of miles. The condition that the car is in, combined with the work that has been done on the car, and the recency of this work, is going to render any such simple formula as you suggest inapplicable. I would much rather have a well-maintained 996TT with 75,000 miles, than a car with 30,000 miles on it that is going to cost me $25K to repair over the next couple of years.
