I probably knew him - we supply, manage and service a safety system throughout the fleet, Supes were an ongoing part of the job.

Campbell River is an interesting choice. The town has grown up quite a bit.
Meant to do a tour of Vancouver Island before we moved out here in 2022 (meant to go Victoria to Port Hardy in the TT, but didn't). Last time I went up Island was going Victoria to Comox to catch the 5 or 6am ferry to Powell River...Made that trip in short time leaving Victoria at 230am...

Will be starting the relocation effort in ernest this year, with a target of being a resident of British Columbia (apparently saying you're a British Columbian is not acceptable according to the Wokies) by the end of 2025.
I can see how you made great time leaving at that time of the am, and IH19 faciliates the speed factor!

Burning Brakes
It was a warm day (60+ degrees) and I decided to take the 996TT out of hiberation. It's had a slight miss for awhile now and was planning on doing the coils/plugs this spring but it finally threw a code so I ordered new coil packs and plugs, hoping to get it installed this week once it arrives. Im kinda' thinking my slight off idle throttle response issues are related to this.

Exhaust install today. Speedtech 100 cel 2.5 crossover. First time wrenching on this car. Took a little longer than expected but everything went well. This paired w my already installed markski tune should really hit the spot.
