How many miles are on it?

This over time scuffs / rubs and damages the delicate aluminum shock tube. If you place the tenders on top of the mains springs, you will never have that issues. I learned the hard way years ago and since then always place the tenders on top. Functionally it makes no difference of course.
Thank you for that little nugget of information. I am going to be soon installing my JRZs and this will yield great results.

JRZ typically uses 2.25" (57mm I.D.) springs and the clearance is particularly tight on the spring connecting plate. With 60mm I.D. springs there is a bit more room but still a good idea to mount it as I suggested. You need 2.25" spring if opting to run a 10" wide front wheels.

Speaking of JRZ I need to find a dealer. Of all the ones I have messaged or called to buy a pair of the radial bearing top mounts none of them have followed through.

Just ordered the parts to do this! I didn't know it was a thing!

Great pics. There is an '18(?) GT2RS FS on BaT right now and I stare at it longingly. I am unaware of a "better" looking and I assume(?!) driving 911 than that. Current bid? $300K and a steal!

The only proof I have that I'm am paying for mistakes made at some time or other in life, is that I don't have this car. A timeless classic I predict.

Oh, what I did to my Porsche 996 Turbo last two days, was successfully re-finish my OZ center caps. A man's gotta know his limitations.

It's just a small local track, 1/3 mile oval with a widened kart track through the middle. It's big enough to be fun but nothing serious. Wood Brothers Nascar guys built it last year. I'm going to get more into running some road course tracks so it is a good place for me to start at least.
