We'd been batting that idea back and forth for a bit, but when he and Cervelli looked into it, it was one of those things where "the surgery isn't worth the time since what we have is working" so when I brought it up to Chris he guided me in another direction... but with the current situation I'm in, it is actually the most straight forward and "easy" solution. As easy as cutting holes in the rear parcel shelf and running hoses and putting an airbox behind your head and then resealing everything can be, I mean....

Oh, that's a **** off - thought these things were assembled on a jig, to avoid that very problem...?

you'd think so, it's kind of a big issue at this point
replaced mine last year while doing my engine build 'just because/PM" and wish I kept my old one to get this turbo on the go again, my new one was same part number as the 3 incorrect ones here now, but was made correctly, so maybe a new supplier since or guy at the factory had too many beers at lunch...

Amazon, $130, up to 4.0l.... methinks it is a good investment as the supplier replaced the battery at no charge, so it'll be awhile before I put an Anti Gravity in.

These also came in....

Came from the UK, paperwork says they were built there, I like the design and build quality, 45mm primaries, 48/9mm flanges.

I wasn't planning on doing these, but when we put the Kline on, I saw that the passenger side turbo has leaked enough oil onto the output of the current setup that it is rotting, plus the larger primaries should be better for the 980s, so easily justifiable.

Stainless - Inconel were smaller than my current arrangement.

They will be coated...

Went yesterday to Thompson Speedway for the 2nd track day of the year. I finally convinced my buddy Brian to bring his Shelby GT350 out. I was hoping for an 8200 RPM 4th gear fly-by, he was shortshifting at 7000 because the car only has 2800 miles on it. It does sound glorious, a 5.2L, 8200 RPM, flat-plane V8. Brian reported coolant, oil, transmission, and rear axle temps were only 10-15 degrees higher than regular street driving. It looks like Ford had a good design for this car, too bad it's out of production.
Something let go in my right rear suspension with much clunking and banging. I suspect either the 996 Cup strut mount or the spherical bearing on the bottom of the shock.

They are really fun to drive, especially with a manual... And the sound, just divine....
