They are the same length as the ones pictured in your post 10445 above. I remember the top of the buckle was just about flush with the top edge of the seat.

Maybe they are the same belts from the GT3 to the Turbo. It seems the 997 ones with the longer cables then.

Heigo in Germany makes great cages. They supply a lot of cages to Porsche Motorsport and make the exact copy of the OEM IVM Clubsport cage which is NLA. The Heigo bar which bolts to the floor and the strut towers would be my choice for a rollbar for these cars.

I couldn't tell you. I never had the stock folding seats. I honestly didn't know there were different length belt buckles but looking at the closely the GT3 Euro seat buckle is slightly longer. You can tell by looking at the buckle that Paul has on his Sparco seats which is slightly shorter. The difference does not appear to be much however. Based on looking in PET, the GT3 buckles have a different last two digits of the part number.

OK. I decided to do the bracket thing. The space between my seat and the console is much tighter than the normal GT3 seats so I need something about 4.75 inches to place the buckle just right. I ordered some 6 inch brackets and I'm going to mod them to fit my needs. The holes are just over .5 inch and I need just over .6 so I'll just open them a bit and drill a new hole at my desired length. I'm sure these will be more than strong enough and any force that can break them will surely kill me either way.

$200 or the pair shipped CONUS.
John, can you measure these from center mount hole to end of buckle?

Or just the spacing on your carpet which makes perfect grid-paper!

That's the one I have. That's cool info, I did not know that. I need to figure out how to quiet the Clevis joints as they do make noise when going driving over bumps or joints.

A lot of the bolt in roll bars will squeak and creak occasionally. Luck of the draw I guess. Tighten the hell out of the bolts is the only remedy and that may not always work. I had the IVM 997GT3 Clubsport cage and that made a bit of noise occasionally but the car had all monoballs and 2000lb springs. None of the bolt in bars are really structural but the Heigo is about as good of a bolt in bar as it gets.

I'm pretty sure they are the stock ones you already have. The plastic buckle is about the same length as the exposed cable part. Even the very longest option is a little too short for what I need so the bracket is the way.

What seats are you using that require an abnormally long buckle?

Sparco Qrt. I have the Brey Krause brackets. Situation is that that seats are tight up against center console area so I need them to stick out above the edge of the seat a little to fit them.

Gotcha. I don't think there is any OEM Porsche buckle that will get that buckle high enough for your set up. The BK side rails have the attachment all the way at the bottom which is lower than that of the OEM GT3 Euro side rails to boot. The extender is going to be your only reasonable option I would guess...
