What did you do to your 996TT today?

Very 959-esque from that angle.

Exactly, cast doesn't like shock... the GT2 was a champ for so long, driven like a rally car knew I had to at some point soon enough, it decided for me
did a 4" ERam install today on a 6tt...old hydraulics completely flat/broken...
tip to get wing up, m8 bleeder screw or grease nipple into the bottom of the ram, use grease gun to pump the wing up and get to the bayonet mount on wing base

Got the Polar Turbo out, but spent most of this edition of Saturday Morning Twisties swapping between a friends 458 Italia and Speciale...

How close are you to getting on the roads?
It dawned on me today that, other than my test strip, it takes about an hour and a half east, or N hour north, before we find the twisties here.
Looks like fun.

Great twisties in about 25-30 minutes... The friend with the 458's is 5 minutes from one of the canyons we often run.
It is nice to be close. Superb weather today as well... Full cloud cover to keep the heat down, but no rain. We also had surprisingly thin traffic for a weekend, had huge stretches to ourselves.

Pretty cool guy to live ina regular looking neighbourhood and just have the F40 there. Maybe worth more than the neighbour's house?
Do you have seat time in the F40?

Fathers day weekend was a bust in Maine. Cold temps, windy as hell and rain off and on ( probably sounds familiar to some). Monday brought pure sun and mid 70's . It was a holiday here but I work anyway so drove it to work. Great day for the TT and not a bug to be cleaned off the car when I got back home. The Porsche dealer even had the two bolts I needed for my stock exhaust straps. $2.36 for the pair. May be the cheapest 996TT item I've purchased yet ( or ever). Some kid in a WRX ran up on my bumper on the highway running home. Bye bye.
Started the work to change my alternator and i noticed this after removing my airbox. I am most certain the serpentine belt is wrongly routed, but what boggled my mind is somehow luckily the car ran fine. Purchased the car last August and have driven around 2000 miles before alternator failed. Luckily it did!
Looks to me belt is installed like NA car???
Yes I will be installing a new belt as well. The correct routing of serpentine belt is no different for X50 and non x50 cars correct? Following pic thanks to Clint Hightowers helpful videos.

That is so weird. Yes, the belt routed that way is NA 996. How did they get it it to fit with the wrong routing?
