Nope, just had the top hats replaced. I did adjust the PSS9s to 4F/2R which offers a much much better ride for me. Since the PSS9s came with the car and I don't know how old they are, I'll probably replace them with the Ohlin's Road and Tracks next year.

My PSS9s have been on the car for about seven years, couldn't see any weeping on the shock seal, and the springs are not sagging - I'll do both the top hats - now I wonder how long the Bilstein's will go before replacement.

Interesting - I will look into that, thank you.
@911rod if memory serves, you recently rebuilt your PSS9 coil overs, are the top hats factory units that are compatible with the coil overs, or did you use another part?
Cheers,

I recall you doing the work, my bad, I thought they were 9s, am not sure what the difference is between the 9s and 10s.
Thanks all the same.

Ordered tires for my BBS RS-GTs finally. I sure wish someone would buy my Work wheels to clear out some space in the garage.

Had four superbly sorted 996 Turbos together for an event this evening... Great lineup!

I'm sticking with the General G-Max RS. They are really great street tires for a car that isn't tracked and the price point is enticing as well. Bumped up from 235/295 combo to a 245/305 combo this time though.

have they always made the 245/305 combo?

I agree, great tires for the street and pricing makes them super attractive.

Some outstanding mountain twisties today...
Oldest 911 was a 1968 911 L, Newest was a 2020 Targa 4S, Coolest was of course the Carrera GT (yeah, I know, not a 911 but we'll let it slide) and quite a few in between.
Highest elevation, 11,306′, lowest 5,466′.

The 355 isn't bad, either.
