I was at one point. In fact I think I still have one of these bouncing around in a parts box somewhere....

The 2.7L ecoboost twin turbo is actually a pretty peppy motor... Ford really dials-down the throttle tip-in, which makes the 0-60 times kind of terrible, but passing power is actually kind of impressive. Also, Ford moronically left 'sport mode' off many of the trim levels, which is kind of like the sport mode on a newer 911, greatly improving the throttle response and shift point selection. Mine does have the sport mode. Highly tunable as well, same engine in the F150 and they are bumping them 70-90 hp with just a flash tune on street gas.

But beyond that, it's those true 'speed traps' that IMHO the detectors are most useful for, some four lane stretch of road that bumps down to 35 for no reason, and the resultant tickets fund some small towns revenue. That can happen just as easily in my Bronco/F150 as a 911.

Yes, very tunable - I drove a Raptor before Christmas that had gobs of work done to it and put down 600+ hp to the wheels out of the 3.5l version, and I must say, for a V6, I was very impressed with the linear and strong power delivery.

I thought every Ford in existence (with the exception of my F350) had a sport button? I thought that was the entire purpose of the 'eco boost' - 'economical' in most situations 'boosty' when required.

Don't get me started... Amazing how Ford managed to leave off stuff on the Bronco that they managed to get right ten years ago on my 2011 F150, like a usable tachometer and a display showing you what gear you are in. Seriously, there is no way to have it continuously show which of its ten gears you are in except when in full manual mode. It will show you a virtual image of a Bronco and show you if your lights are on or off, but no way to display the gear you are in.

My 350 shows my gear, but I had to use the shifter buttons to get it to display.

Same on my F150... But once you use the button to get it to display, it is persistent. On the Bronco, if you hit the up/down shift button, it will actually shift, then show you the gear, then disappear in about 1.5 seconds. No way to get it to remain... I assumed at first I just didn't know some trick or mode to get it to display, but alas there simply is no way, other than keeping it in full manual. WTF Ford?

New exhaust incoming from JHutch. This one has removable resonators that are a v-band slip fit. Excited to see how it is.
