Starting off as helping a friend 'upgrade' from his 997 C4S to a 996 Turbo...

He needed to sort through some things before going forward and this car was NOT going to last another hour let alone days, so I grabbed it for myself!

An absurdly clean and nicely sorted 2002 Polar Silver Turbo Coupe...

Good comparison of Polar Silver vs. Arctic Silver....

"Natural Leather Grey" (which is nearly black on the dash/doors/seats but noticeably gray on the carpets) and some carbon fiber trim. Surprisingly, none of the carbon fiber has either yellowed or cracked.

Sweet specs.

Be careful with the CF steering wheel. If you pull on it getting in or out of the car it will crack over time. And in general keep the CF out of direct sun.

Congratulations! I am up to two Pcars, a new M550, and a Shelby Mustang. I am looking for a 991 turbo S.

This car doesn't have a CF wheel, but I agree, I think every 996 generation CF wheel I've ever seen has been cracked. Almost as bad as the center console and door pocket lids in CF! They seemingly crack just by looking at them!

Here are the specs of the P44 package that is on this car:Small Carbon Interior Package:
.
Covered in carbon: instrument surround, trim molding groove, central air vents frame, frame for heater/ air conditioning control unit, left, right and lower switch covers and door sill plates with 'Carrera' logo.
Covered in leather in interior color: ignition lock rosette.
Painted in interior color: central air vents.

Additionally it has Y05 Carbon/ Aluminum shift **** and brake handle

Oh, that '66 is pretty sweet.

I take it the newer one has a blower on it?

The 66 has a Paxton blower installed by Shelby 1 of 60 built, very rare car. The 07 has a whipple super charger, approximately 450 hp.

There is a later one that frequents my local Ford dealer, a 68/9, with twin blowers on it, manual - a monster of a car.

Apparently, it drinks fuel like I drink water.

Very nice rides... does the turbo get a garage spot?
