Are you sure the green ones are the original/Correct ones? Sorry if this has been mentioned before.

I think the original part was 996 106 801 04, superseded by 996 106 801 06 which are the ridged ones? Not sure if you can still get the old style.

Replaced the struts on the frunk! Super easy 5 minute job. No more hood falling on my head.

$46 for the Stabilus struts on amazon.

Can you specify which one you choose...I just looked at amazon and there are different types? Thanks!

Your local auto parts store has these in stock or can most likely get them the same or next day.

Replaced my dying alternator w/ new Bosch 150 amp unit (AL0815N), and replaced the belt and fuel filter.
Also replaced Pagid Yellow(F) / Black(R) pads with Endless MX72's - still a little noise after bedding in but much more tolerable for street use.

Driver side of the spoiler not lifting was a known issue when purchased recently and today was nice enough to look into it. Had assumed cylinder leak but looks like I have a torn line. Hopefully that solves it. Sorry, pic didn’t seem to focus that close but rubber splits when bent.

Then met up with a buddy to test his Boxster GTS. Was a pretty fun car and nice exhaust note in sport but am still pretty damn happy about going with the 996tt.

Wow, that is cool and I think I want it.

I get the two blow off valves, but what have you ported in inside of the BOVs?

Nothing is going into the diverter valves, that's the shadow from the chassis. The other tubes look to be water/meth nozzles.

There's going to be a lot of popping and whooshing on that setup.

Water/meth nozzles make sense.

That might not solve it.....the rubber sheath is just an external shield to the white tube underneath. My black rubber coating came completely off when I worked on my system and it still held pressure. I re-covered the lines with marine grade split loom and it has been functioning for two years now without any leakage.
