Check the details dock....

Chevy pushes out all new deliveries to websites like cars.com, cargurus.com, and often to the dealers own websites, where they show up as for sale, but they are almost all pre-sold cars and not available at any price..

I won't say it is impossible to find a new or near new C8 available at a dealer for sticker, but about as likely as hitting a $50K prize on an scratch-off lottery...

Pretty much the only way it is going to happen is if a customer that was waiting for a long time backs out on a car that has been ordered and not delivered, and the dealer doesn't want to mark it up for extra profit (good luck with that).

My factory grills were pretty beat up and it's a pain to get all the leaves and rocks out of the radiators, so I made new grillz for it.

I'll look closer at the websites, but the cars I saw had prices associated with each listing in their "for sale" section.

Call them up and try to buy one. Me thinks they will be NLA.

Want to make a second set for me?

@ Leatherique treatment

It's a difference you can feel. The leather is MUCH more supply and doesn't feel as dry. In terms of seeing, fewer glossy spots. When I was done, the small water bucket was grey with all the crap that came off the seats.

It's a matte finish, which is the finish the leather is supposed to have. More glossy spots are those that have more wear/traffic/junk in it.

The best video I've found on how to do the treatment is linked here:

Long video, but better than the manufacturer even has. I let the Rejuvenator sit on the leather for 1-2 days, putting more on every 2-6 hours, depending. The best way to do this is let the car sit in the sun so the leather's pores open up, and close the windows so there's a bit of a greenhouse effect. The rejouvenator oil will soak in, and then you just keep applying it until the area won't take any more (it'll turn and stay sticky/tacky). Then, after 24-48 hours of doing this, spray on your cleaner, and give it a liberal spritzing. I used plastic bags and packing paper to help with overspray. Then, let that sit for a few minutes. Then, wipe it all down. Last wipe is wet washcloth, wrung out. Then I get the last bit off, then a full dry.

The stuff basically looks like someone made it in their basement and bottled it for the Farmer's Market, but back when I was on the Ferrari forums, basically everyone was using Leatherique 4x a year. I've only been using it a year (and I do switch between products to try them out).

Exactly. Note that they are all computer generated images with the identical 'dealership' background, not real photos of the cars. That is the usual dead giveaway.

One of those exact adds was created for the C8 I put a deposit on 18 months before delivery and was fully sold and paid for before the listing appeared. These are not cars that are available for purchase.

What do you think they mean by "Only 3 1LT models left in stock!"

^This was my same experience using the Leatherique products. Excellent results and much more supple leather.

I realize that. I asked because I'm not a fan of a gloss (or semi-gloss) look and wondered how the product you used turned out.

They are lying. Call them up and try to buy one. They will be NLA or asking 40%+ over MSRP for a different car.

Bait and switch - tell you something is available to get you to call or come in. Basic dealership tactics.
