Did you order a new key because of this difference?

I haven't done much to my car in the past few years, primarily as it just runs so good and it's a weekend toy, competing with a Harley Road King and carbon road bike for my free time.

Just hit 60K, had a local indy shop do the plug service, we also installed Swedish D088 intercoolers at the same time as I'm now living in East Bay where it gets 20, 30, and even 40 degrees hotter than SF. Only mods are Kline exhaust with a custom Sam @ By Design 100 octane tune, as I run the car exclusively on good gas since it's a 12 minute drive from my house.

I did a few 3rd gear pulls w/ data logs and have just rec'd my updated map from Sam. Looking forward to the new tune!

Yes, yes I did.

Plus, my old one looks old and I am partial to new and shiny.

A tarnished key responds well to polishing too.

So the great oil in the intake problem is back - this time, it is on the drivers side.

Question to the group - I know the seals on the passenger side turbo are going and I am going to address that with new turbos, but how much oil is too much oil?

So, as luck would have it, another leak has been found, as noted below. Is it possible to get to this without lowering the motor a bit?

I am not so dainty.

are you refering to the highlighted areas? If so, then you will most likely have to drop the bumper cover to gain access to the upper intercooler connection…

EDIT…

you are going to have to lower the motor as low as possible and pray you can get to the back of the plenum…

That's putting it mildly, double oh seven.

Difficult to read what you wrote on the picture. I don't think the back half of the plenum can be removed without removing the engine first.

Yeah, sorry about the pic - it was early here...

That's sort of what I was thinking... on the PDF, that pipe is wiggling and we can hear air escaping when we pressurize the system. The wrench wants to lower the engine to get to it, but I couldn't even figure out how this could have come loose in the first place...
