Thanks! The inlets and dive planes are small little details, I have a carbon lip for the GT2 spoiler coming from Manthey but it is stuck in Germany with the roof at the moment. Hopefully they get here in time for the winter tear down and repaint with the current pile of Manthey body parts.

Cannot go wrong with them, they do the job very well!

Thanks Mike, suspension is H&R RSS combined with Champion Thrust arms front and rear, I machined my own LCA bushings, toe links and upper arms from 7075 Aluminum then converted to RWD. After driving my buddies stock suspension 6tt a couple weeks back, I cannot say how different the car is, it is almost go cart in feeling over a stock 6tt suspension that reminds me more of driving my truck than a car!

The subframe is now at stock GT2 heights.

The constant trickle of stories like this are why I am hesitant to get a tune.

Nice to see Dock and wross996tt are tune trouble free.

Not to mention accelerated wear on the clutch, transmission, etc. I had to pay the price for my previous owners' tune and/or lack of driving skill.

Porsche "overengineers" things for a reason.

You need it to go with your modified exhaust.

The Cobb has been on mine since the Cobb was released, no issues.

I understand your position on this.

I think a base tune from Kevin would have a very high degree of being worry free for many many years.

6 years and 20k miles with Kevins tune and no issues. Have his tune on the 997tt for the past 15k miles without issue either.

That's certainly not a problem on my end.

IMO owners who use their 996 Turbos only on the street, and who don't engage in street racing, should decide what their personal target is in terms of the longitudinal acceleration ability of the car. If you aren't tracking the car and aren't racing people on the street, what other acceleration measurement is really important other than your seat of the pants meter?

Designed and built an oil temp gauge, which reads the oil temp from the existing sender (not from the DME). Mounted it on a little stalk like thing. Now I will never wonder about the oil temp.
I still need to get a gray display filter, I haven't been able to find one.

Hi Noah!
Once I get this little annoyance sorted out on my car I'm in for one of Kevin's tunes, too. I really like the new device that Kevin previewed last week.
