There are so many great American craft beers that I can't nail down a favorite. Although I will say that my beer fridge has only European beers in it right now.

Pliny no doubt has been the benchmark of IPA's over the years. And Pliny the Younger is even better. But the craft IPA makers have really stepped up their game. You should try Melvin (WY) and Toppling Goliath (IA) they make some fantastic IIPAs. (even Stone's Enjoy Bys are pretty good)

Don't even get me started on beer haha. Who's on untappd? I'm at around 1150 unique beers, which pales in comparison to some of my friends who are in the 3-4k range. There are so many unique and good beers, and in my opinion USA overall does beers better than any other country. Sure, Belgium has Cantillon and 3 Fonteinen which are amazing breweries with rich history, but there are some great lambic/wild ale outfits in the US as well. When it comes to IPAs, specifically the NE IPA made by breweries such as Tree House, there's no comparison. If you guys ever need recommendations, hit me up!

Agreed, I am on the road and trying to keep the calories down.

I really like beer. All beers. But I want to buy another transmission... So limited beer intake.

i've been surviving this mandatory house arrest with liberal quantities of CA's north coast brewing "scrimshaw" and "red seal ale" ( both non gmo ) and samuel smith's organic pale ale which satisfies my need for an imported beer..

were it not for beer, i'd have taken to the streets in search of domestic terrorists.

I rotate several (many?) different beers through my beer fridge, but it will always be stocked with Guinness.

I personally don't consider Guinness very filling at all; I can drink it all afternoon/evening (when appropriate to do so) and at 4.2% I don't get wrecked by all the beer I drink.

Tree House and Pliny are very difficult to get. That's why I recommended the ones I did as they are available...

Coors Light is my garage/high volume drinking beer.

When I want to "enjoy" my beer, I'm an IPA guy.
