I am loving the RSS semi-solid mounts. What they bring is exactly what was missing from the 996 compared to my older 911s.
The change is subtle but it makes all difference in the world to me.
With the semi-solids at idle I am getting a little engine vibration through the steering wheel and a little valve train noise in my ears. The car feels alive. When I cruise around at 2500 RPM I feel no difference to the OEM mounts. But once I get on the throttle it is heaven. The exhaust note is better and you get induction noise. Induction noise is nectar if the Gods. The car just feels more rigid, more like an old school 911. In cornering the rear end is solid and connected. I understand now why the 991 has electronic adjustable damping on the motor mounts.
Many thanks to everyone who recommended these. Thanks.

I track my car and running 800F/1000R with KW V3s and GT3 bars, street friendly too. Heading out this weekend for some fine tuning. Had 700F and were a bit too soft.

brought it out of storage and drove the hell outta her!
will drive it for a week or so before dropping the engine/trans out for coolant fittings, injectors(tune), and (engine bay) coolant system refreshing. etc.

Does anyone have an option for getting a new litronic headlamp assembly other than paying $3400 to a dealer? After the recent repair to my car the brand new driver side unit is so much nicer than the other one. I have tried a couple different shops for buffing the older one and it isn't acceptable.
