That's a great set up. You will love it especially if you track your car. Make sure the calipers you get have the yellow zircon piston inserts and NOT the new style "brown" versions which are prone to cracking. I believe Porsche retained the yellow inserts on the GT calipers but for some reason changed to the brown ones on the TT versions. I went through two sets of the new style brown insert calipers last year and it was mess getting Porsche to warrantee them but they finally did after 6 months of haggling with Porsche corporate. The other reason I would recommend the GT3 versions and not the TT versions is the fact that there are no rebuild kits available for the odd TT piston sizes. PMNA sells the GT/cup version rebuild kits. Just an FYI.

Here's what the inserts looked like on the 2013 997TT PCCB calipers after only 3000 miles of street driving. The material gets brittle, chalky, and begins to crack. You can basically take chunks out if it with your fingernail. This did not appear to be an isolated incident as the same thing happened to another owner with the new style calipers. Maybe Porsche had changed the design again since last year but just thought I'd throw it out there. There are no issues with the yellow zircon inserts.

mounted the new rear ps2's w alignment. this after punching a sidewall on a corner berm. man, it doesn't take much!

my last two rear ps2's in summer '13 were $475 ea. they have now gone UP to $527!. this is outrageous but i dont skimp on tires and we pay to play.. not risking my crazy *** with cheap shyte.. but this is ridiculous.

527.00 a tire for ps2's in 2014. sheesh.

Ya personally I don't see how they can be so much better then others specially considering cost of 2 tires is=almost a set of other tires. But hey whatever you want to waste your money on

i'm with dock on this one i've learned what to save on for this car, and for me? it ain't tires. but i'll admit those stickers all over my shiny new ps2's came with quite a shock

was also happy to see even wear pattern across the tire, this in spite of my low rider stance

edit: driving briskly on ps2's affords me a level of confidence i have yet to find on any other tire brand.

I went the cheap route once with Sumitomos, never again. Macster will be happy to hear I have N spec tires on my car.

GT2 size PS2s are phenomenal. Ride is much improved with the taller sidewall.

Michelin PS2s are $465 per at tire rack right now (N spec).

Not to revive the tire debate, but, PS2 non-N spec are about $440 per.

So, is there a quantifiable difference between Michelin PS2 N spec and non N spec?

Try the BF Goodrich g-Force Rival's for the street, under $1,100 for a full set.

Heard good things about them, for the summer months I like running a r compound like a Niito nt-01 or toyo RA-1 which are on the car now. So it just depends how you use your car.

Sumis and Ps2 I was talking more like a hankook or toyo tire.
Sumi to Ps2 is like Rc Cola to Coke or Chivas Regal to Macallan 18 you get the point
