I believe its $130, but it is the potential VI to accompany it that gets spendy.
I have fought against the front plate for years, but the VI saga that I am going through with the Subie is more spendy, and I am not interested in getting into further costly disagreements with Johnny Law. Especially now, we had to lay a couple folks off that I didn't want to and our oil industry is in shambles with little new developments going, so an ounce of prevention....
They fit fine, however, when I found out how much structural work was required to invert the center rad, I elected to keep the Stanford turbo ducts in place.

To be clear, I was interested to hear how the side radiator ducts fit. Pictures please 🙂
I'll try and take a couple through the vents, but there is no way I am taking the bumper off myself - knowing my luck I will drop, bend, or otherwise inflict some kind of damage to the freshly painted piece...
You can sort of see the drivers side, but I'll try and take a better pic with some more light, I did replace all of them with shiny CSF units, so light may aid in adding some contrast.
i just dremeled the top pivot clip out... pulled the pin out of the top and bottom and was able to get the door out from the top of the heater core housing... took a couple minutes... then i putty the top of the clip back in to hold it...

i think it looks great... as much as i love the clean lines of a no front plate, i also run the same front plate bracket because i don't want the hassle either... i already have tint on my front windows which is illegal here and most of the time the police here let it slide... i feel like as you start to add up the number of visible violations on your car, it will attract unwanted attention from the police... illegal tint, missing front plate, tinted rear plate cover, blacked out headlights, loud exhaust, a cop behind you will start to question what else you are doing is illegal and can now pull you over... no thanks, the less attention from them, the better...

Probably falling somewhere between completely legal and getting constantly hassled, have you looked at doing a 'decal plate'? Many higher end sign or car wrap/clear bra shops have printers that can print directly to automotive vinyl... Scan (or photograph) your plate, print it out full size or a bit smaller (90%), apply it like graphics to your front end.
Seems a shame to mess up that gorgeous GT2-look front end, and imho these look *way* better than the tow-hook mounts, and is completely removable.
I don't have a picture handy, but you can find several examples on rennlist of this.
Paul, I like the look of the license plate sticker but I doubt the Denver city meter maids are gonna like it. $75. Oh, you're still here? $75. Park in Cherry Creek? $75. Park downtown? $75. Park on my side street outside my office? Annoyingly patrolled and $75.

Yeah, not sure. The Denver metro meter maids certainly don't accept a plate on the dash, or a plate on the skid plate of a truck.... f**ckers. But that said, I haven't run a front plate in Colorado for 35 years and I have *never* had real police or state patrol care. Only city parking enforcement, particularly in Denver and Boulder.
I think the decal plates might be close enough that they don't take a careful look.
