Say what? That's what I have on my car (the one with the single large muffler, right?). It's not super loud, but it's way louder than stock.

I was fine with the answer. I'm the one that dropped the $10k. He's one of the best in the world and has a reputation behind him.

His reference wasn't just to rebuilt ones, but to ones that were never rebuilt. One goes from one car to another untouched.

all good, and all that matters. you are the "customer". it's just i had never heard of someone repairing something let alone a $10k repair and then say that it "couldnt be guaranteed not to 2nd gear pop" again. but i didn't hear that, i just read about it. enjoy the new gearing.

Hard to believe you did not have him swap out the TT counter-weighed shift lever for the shorter non-weighed GT3/Cup version. It's a $100 part and subtly changes the shift feel of the gearbox for the better plus it effectively shortens the shifter throw by 30%. That's a gimme whenever opening the case of the gearbox. Many people wonder why the GT boxes always feel a bit more direct/crisper, and this is it.

I have the GT3RS shifter and love it. It's awesome.

In other news, I managed to get down to the body shop today to have a look see at the new front cover before paint - fits very well, little bit of body work on the vent, but all in all, I like.

Is that an OEM GT2 Front Bumper, or some other company?

It is an NR Auto one, but its saving grace is that it formed with poly, from an OEM mould.

Who told you it was from an OEM mold? I'd find that interesting.
