Yea, that can happen sometimes, just be patient and scour the classifieds every so often and you'll find one out there like I did...

A bit of early winter work... RS intercoolers, RS engine mounts, 350mm rotors, fresh plugs, and a few other tweaks!

Thanks, yes, it was.

Absolutely, this is the only thing that's going to help me get over selling the 996!

That's a Peach - congrats - I instructed in one of these a few years ago - and it had me giggling like a school girl.

It's cheaper to come to the track than to get the tickets and the accompanying increase in insurance costs... Besides, Sebring is right in your backyard!

Congratulations on the new Gentlemens express. If you don't mind me asking what car transport company did you use?

Thank you. I'm looking forward to it. I haven't giggled like a school girl in a while.

I don't know as my buddy who owns a dealership arranged transport for me. I can ask, if you like. I do have a connection with and have used PlyCar transport in the past. They moved my old '63 Nova with enclosed transport and did a great job. They moved the car from the east coast to CA for $1400, if I recall correctly.

Whatever company I'm using for the Turbo S is delivering from WI to CA, for $1200.

$1200 is an excellent price, please ask for the company name, thanks.

I will check out PlyCar too.

I just went through the car transport thing, from RI to northern NV which was 3k miles exactly. I called around to all of the big names, reliable, plycar, passport, etc, about 2 months ahead of the move. Passport gave me the best rate by a reasonable margin, along with live tracking of the truck. Ended up being $4450 for 2 vehicles. Service and communication was great, no complaints here except for the cost.

Did you consider driving the 996 Turbo to Reno?
