Very nice, how do you like the OZs? I've been thinking about picking up a set myself (in bronze) since it's hard to find decent wheels in stock sizes. At least wheels that are not on backorder or special order only.
These are 8.5 x 12 x 18 rims. I like them theyre lighter than hollows. I got them from a member but they are decently priced new.
They are really easy to clean i just have to figure out how to take the centre cap off.

My car is lowered to GT2 height so while I would love to upsize to GT2 sizes, I would prefer not to have to roll the fenders to prevent rubbing.

Make sure your offsets are correct 40 front 45 rear
235/40 315/30 Azenis 615k+ Do not rub on stock suspension.
They are extremely close to my inner rear fenders but absolutely do not rub on full squat.
if you were to go michelins you can get them 245 up front but they're super tall and you might rub on your right front fender.
I read constantly online about people rubbing.
I bought spacers prior to buying these wheels, the spacers were returned.
If you are concerned with inner fender rubbing Get 3mm shims to push the wheel out to clear and you wont have to roll.
forgot to add the alignment I chose was for aggressive street w/ regards to tire wear.
I did not have the same luck... Although the tyre was warrantied, it most certainly came into contact with the right rear fender. The fix involved using the gt2 fender holders and so far, so good....

Rubbing the fender liner won't burst your tire like that. Maybe if you aggressively rubbed against the metal bracket, but the soft plastic liner will just rub away. I run GT2 size wheels (18x8.5.12) +/- a few mm of offset, and they have rubbed through some of the fender liner but all is good.

That's exactly what I was thinking... plus where the tire can make contact with the rear fender liner is on the top corner of the tire, with the tread, not the sidewall... Something else was going on in the pictures above.
I had very slight rubbing on the rear liners with my setup:
Front: 18x9” ET46 with 245/40-18
Rear: 18x12” ET45 with 315/30-18,
Azenis 615k+ tire
Lowered (H&R sport) suspension.
You can fix this slight rubbing with the GT2 fender brackets, or just modify the stock brackets to be the same size/shape as the GT2 brackets, which is what I did.
The turbo bracket sits behind the intercooler hose, which limits how much it can pull back on the fender liner. The GT2 bracket (and my modified Turbo bracket), sits above the intercooler hose and can pull back on the fender liner a bit more close to where they typically make contact.
First picture is the GT2 bracket, second is the oem bracket, after I modified it slightly. Cut, drill a hole, move the speed-clip, done.

I passed Ca smog check today. Took 10min and $65. I had changed out my kline for the stock exhaust just to be sure. He did not even look at it. I only drove it 10 Mi. after flashing out the Msport stage tune with the secondary O2 sensors coded out for the Std stage 2 tune.
As I said, there were a number of factors that contributed to the failure noted above.
The biggest was speed, which I had to scrub very quickly after I noted a man with a pointy head in the neighborhood.
As I got on the brakes very hard going downhill, I also, by absolute luck, went into a road divet and seriously compressed the suspension... My hearing isn't very good, but the other half heard the pop, and I felt it go instantly, and got it off to the side in no more than a couple hundred feet.
Tire guy said I had a delamination... I think it was more likely to be a combination of both a delam and rubbing brought on by extreme suspension movement.
I never even knew about the gt2 brackets until after the failure...
Part of the issue might be related to the fact that the tire was stretched beyond the recommended wheel width or was compromised during the tire mounting process.
Could be - I don't have a problem with putting a 315 on a 12" rim, and after I installed the GT2 brackets, there has been no contact to date... fingers crossed!
