I like that tradition. Who wants to touch a **** that's been slobbed on by another guy anyways?

I'm thinking that it would clean up very well.

I don't like that carbon fiber with the shift pattern either. Mine has the shift pattern in silver with the carbon fiber around it.

You should keep the silver horseshoe from the first one. Looks better!

How well does the mic work in that location? Trying to figure out a location for my install.

Works fine better than at the top of the steering column. Of course with the top down its sucks no matter where you put it!!

Went boost leak hunting and found a hole in the line from the N75 to the Y pipe. Probably should've gone deeper but wanted to use the car later that day, so put it all back together

Over the course of a few days....
  • Performed an oil change
  • Swapped out the drive belt which was a complete pain to do and took entirely too long. It was an OEM belt but very tight. Required 2 people, some sun and a few hours.
  • Added an EB works fixed wing kit while I fix my OEM unit
  • Added an Alloy and Carbon wiper delete plug. Really happy with this. Thanks to @pfbz for his writeup !
  • Hit 60K

Swapping out my drive belt took maybe 15 minutes? Was easily able to do it by myself, you sure you got the right belt?

Yes triple checked the part number. From talking to Kevin, I guess some are a little tighter than others. I wish it took 15min!

When I replaced mine, it took a good 20 minutes to wrestle on. The tensioner was really difficult to "open" enough to get the belt on.
