What did you do to your 996TT today?

Hate hate hate this job so much. Started as a simple project then found my axle bolt broken, destroyed wheel bearing, replaced front passenger creaking control arm and rear drivers control arm and finally frozen Pistons in the calipers. I just hope the prep on the calipers pays off when I repaint, not trying to do this again.

Today I put the cover on it.
Yesterday I was unfaithful, and made it an accomplice - drove it to go see a 991TT.
Nice to finally go on a drive of more than 30 miles...

I picked up the car Friday after 3 weeks at my indy. On Saturday my youngest and I took it for a nice 50 mile drive in the foothills of Silicon Valley to Mount Hamilton. Wow, the car drove wonderfully. I think the new plugs and wires really helped.
Today I cleaned it inside and out and can't wait to drive it to work tomorrow!

Does driving like you have a loan on it mean to drive it very gently or very hard, could be taken either way I suppose
That looks superb, what wing is that for the grey one?

I picked up spare set of stock manifolds and did a mild porting and polishing job on the inlets and merge collectors to clean up the factory weld lumps and bulges.
Now just waiting to get them back from Swain Tech Coatings so I can bolt on the couple extra horsepower they'll provide.
