Assuming you are RWD, get the 305/35/18 instead of the 315/30. The 305 over an inch taller that the short 315. It's a much better choice, higher load rating, bigger contact patch, better grip. I've run both, there's no comparison.

Yep, I agree but I'm not on RWD yet. The trans and drivetrain upgrade $$$ won't be until later this year or winter. The cage build has been ridiculous..

I'm on GT2 sizes with the 18s.

For some reason I seem to get a little more even wear out of the 305s as well.

Thanks!
It's a Chicco Keyfit 30. No other parts to install.

Rolled over 61K, that's 10k miles for me

Planned oil change this weekend and then maybe full wash clay-bar & wax treatment.

I installed a pair of bumper plugs to fill the holes left where the front plate mounting bracket belongs.

Over the weekend, I swapped the sunroof cartridge/frame/rails/tracks (whatever you'd call the piece that holds the sunroof into the roof of the car).... Not fun.... Makes me want to just delete the whole sunroof for a solid panel to avoid any future potential issues. Happy to report that everything went back together perfectly and actually seems to have resolved a couple of rattles as well, so there is some silver lining to it.

Yesterday I fixed my rear tag light which wasn't plugged in, adjusted my e brake, and went to install a 997 shifter to find out it already had one. Oops oh well it's a new car to me so just getting to know her better.

Nice!

I am considering a 2005 TTS cab, and have wondered if my 3 month old daughter could fit in the back with my wife in the front. My wife is 5'8", so I suspect not... My 2000 C4 Cab has been in pieces since the baby arrived, so I haven't been able to try it out with the family.

How tall is your better half?

Cheers,
TomF

I don't think it should be a problem. When my kids were young my wife and I would take both of them with us in the 996 Turbo. My wife is 5'11" and I'm taller than she is.

Did you use a rear-facing seat in the back? It is the infant seat length that I am concerned about. I may take the seat over to a friend's to try it out. My c4 cab is two states away, undergoing engine surgery... I have my 2008 Cayenne Turbo for general family and dog hauling, but my wife probably won't approve the TT S unless the little one can go with us...

Cheers,
TomF

No.

But my grown son has ridden in the back behind my wife who was sitting in the passenger's seat (she is 5'11" and he's 6' tall).
