What did you do to your 996TT today?

Finally managed to go out on a drive with the car after the tranny repair and 997 short shifter kit. Took my 4 month old with me so I could give my wife some relief at the same time.

Presuming your wife didn't need the relief, would she be able to sit in front of that car seat? Are you using a base or just the seat? I. In the same mode with my 9-month old.
Congrats on getting the car out. How do you like the 997ssk?

Hehe! The good thing about taking her for a ride is that she reliably falls asleep within 10 mins. So for now I can't expect much navigation support!

Good weekend for my car, did a pressure test found my vacuum leak that's plagued my car for a while now, it's back to idling perfect and pulling like a freight train. I also installed a new trans mount car feels great. Feels good to get some stuff sorted out. We have a PCA instructors clinic on the 4th and needed to have the car ready to go.

Finally finished a brake bleed and front diff/tranny fluid change. Used motul for everything. Their gear 300 is basically all the same parameters/specs as factory fill, much closer than Delvac. Had several quarts on hand. Never got around to putting it in an FR-S i toyed with for a few months before I sold it (NO power).
Also did the front radiator cleanout which was much needed. At the end I installed Rennline screens in black.
The best was my numeric shifter install. Picked up one of their demo units to save a little and dropped it in Saturday. Really wasn't hard. Had to remove a front tab off the console to get it to fit correctly up there. It is gorgeous. Too bad I can't see it! Middle setting and it's just like the cliche "rifle bolt"
Maybe I can drive sometime this week...after 2 months on stands...
