My clutch pedal has become firm during startup. I looked for any leaks and found the Clutch Master Cylinder with some fluid. Should I replace it?
I wouldn't first replace the master cylinder until and unless I was 100% certain the slave itself wasn't the cause of excess fluid migration to the master cylinder as you *might* need both - which more than likely is the case. As you know, they often fail in tandem, exactly as they are designed to operate. The failing slave causes the fluid to backup into the master, creating the overflow.
If I had to pick only one part to replace in hopes that will remedy it? It'd be the slave itself and not the master cylinder.

Thank you for the tip. I looked in the frunk by the Pentosin reservoir and the driver side floor. No excess fluid found there. I’ll keep monitoring 👍

Your welcome. Not to alarm you, but I too would definitely keep a watchful eye out for fluid loss or migration, and remember. If one or both the slave and/or master are in fact failing? You can go from a "stiff" pedal to a complete failure with pedal to the floor and zero clutch action with one attempt to start the car and then it's time for a flatbed tow.
Out of curiosity .. Has the accumulator been acting up with a stiff pedal "pre"-startup? Because that of course is the first part to suspect, as when failing, simply no longer "accumulates". Hence the "stiff" pedal, "pre" start.

Yes exactly stiff pedal pre-warmup. It has been happening more frequently now. No problem shifting nor clutch pedal play. I’ll keep my AAA card handy

Isn't AAA great!? My AAA card says "Thanks for being a member since 1964"! ( yikes ).
If your clutch action changes even a little bit from normal while driving? That's one time it would be wise to follow the advice of the OBC gauge display and "Drive To Workshop"!
^Nah you're good. Most of us will aim for about halfway on the digital gauge, but as long as it's not all the way up you know it's not overfilled. Drive it hard and you'll burn a little of it.
I hope I can catch that before it gets worse for me.
I put a shop towel underneath of mine over the floor mat and it barely has any fluid on it after several weeks. I am going to replace mine eventually but am not in a rush. Admittedly, I am a novice but I don't see how the slave makes the master fail or vice versa.

I am still learning like you. I got my car over a year ago with 11k miles and drove about 5000 miles.
