Nope.. The engine did not get shipped in time to be used for one of the class teardown engines.

The weather HAS BEEN BRUTAL ! here on the East Coast and from what I understand, it's stretching quite far to the south as well. It looks like Cleveland is pretty close to the N. Georgia Mountains area so that could have an effect on traffic/trucking patterns... Maybe we should start a pool on when the motor will get to Jake's shop? Date, time, over/under (before/after), damaged, undamaged...etc. Any gamblers here? (I thought we were all gamblers with the 996

)

The engine arrived on Monday of this week. It'll come apart next week.

With the weather we have had many issues, matter of fact this is what the approach to the facility looks like today.

The 996 having the engine so far back and with proper winter tires or even with just descent tread all seasons/summers will have excellent traction in the snow.

Looks nice there, but I prefer seeing the snow in pictures, rather than in my driveway.
