Thanks for the info. I have plenty of other maintenance and upgrades to pour time and money into this season (PCCM+, replacing worn interior and exterior parts, oil pressure gauge, UAOS, etc) and I'm enjoying scooting around back roads in the meantime, so I can wait for the second release of the UIDS before attending and DE or autocross.
I appreciate the Patronage and patience !!

That’s what I thought.
Did we ever see a baseline WITHOUT the deep sump?
I understand the deep sump doesn’t completely solve the problem.
But without a baseline it’s possible the deep sump is responsible for keeping his engine running on the track.
The deep sump equipped M96 never suffered any damage from low oil pressure, right?

My LN subsidiary (RND) rebuilt engine w/ LN installed deep sump / baffle and Porsche Motorsport AOS failed due to oiling issues (despite race oil). There’s a reason this thread and a not inexpensive (more than the above mentioned products combined) improvement exists.
Thanks for all the hard work Skip.

How's it going, @Porschetech3? Any chance v2 will be available for sale any time soon?

Yes, it is a lot of work.
I have the updated baffles all assembled, about 2,000 rivets hand popped, 400 riv-nuts hand squeezed, along with a lot of other hand made parts...some machine made, laser cut ect..Just ordered 10x8x4 boxes to ship them in...
All updated parts are at no cost, just pay for Postage $15 and send back any rollers to be recycled, re-machined for o-rings..( I think most everyone has the o-ringed rollers)
If you have a single wing style sail, it will need to be clearanced for the de-aerator..just send it to me...If you have the bi-wing style sail, you are good to go...Just verify with me which style you have...
upgrade baffles
brackets float valves
o-ringed rollers
hand set riv-nuts in brackets
Single wing style sail ( needs clearance for de-aerator)
bi-wing style sail ( doesn't need clearanced for de-aerator)

YES !! Costs keep going up and machine shops are swamped....
If you know of someone that has a CNC machine that can give me quotes on some of the parts, it might surely help in producing another batch..

Or look at decker_machine_works on IG for some of the things he’s made. Phenix_engineering for the 911 themed builds and parts on IG.

I think I can make a template with directions to just remove the 8 screws and lift off the valve assembly and put in a gallon zip-lock bag leaving the wing to be clearanced hanging out of the bag, taped up to stay clean...

+1 for a DIY install as well. It doesn't seem overly complicated so those that want to DIY can handle it and those who don't can ship it in for an upgrade. This should help minimize the workload on your part too and dealing with shipping both way!
