[QUOTE=TRLBRAKER;17479925]Any guesses as to which one will reach the highest amount? Both are on BAT right now. Both are beautiful in their own right, but I feel it comes down to which headlights do you prefer?
1999 is abuzz right now, but without ambers a case can just as easily be made for the newer, more powerful car. Coin toss IMO

I have been watching both.
Might be that I like red.
It's the first time I have compared the Arena Red to Oreint Red Metallic.
These reds do look different, but it could be the sun glare and the care on the finish.
I was more referring to the different versions of metallic reds and purely from aesthetic pov. I concede that my assertions should have been more encompassing of the differences. That said, the linked info requires an update. For example, I didn't see anything that indicated which engine is more susceptible in terms of bore scoring?
I have no idea, but I am guessing there has to be nearly 10 shades of red across the 996.1 & 996.2
It’s like ammunition. If you have the funds, you buy what you want. But you’re right, this is dumb. Especially since there are still plenty of cars or cars.com that are 1/3rd or 1/2 this price.

This one is stunning. Maybe sell it to the place in Florida that is asking $60 plus for their coupe.
Gateway Classic.
