Only if you sent it away in a Tardis to Wenderlin Weiderking’s mid-2000’s Porsche.

Switchcars with the high bid on the '99 is telling.

[QUOTE=TRLBRAKER;17479925]Any guesses as to which one will reach the highest amount? Both are on BAT right now. Both are beautiful in their own right, but I feel it comes down to which headlights do you prefer?

Great post. Horse race. Similar miles, similar color, not sure about condition. Gonna be fun to watch and comment.

1999 is abuzz right now, but without ambers a case can just as easily be made for the newer, more powerful car. Coin toss IMO

I have been watching both.
Might be that I like red.
It's the first time I have compared the Arena Red to Oreint Red Metallic.
These reds do look different, but it could be the sun glare and the care on the finish.

I have no idea, but I am guessing there has to be nearly 10 shades of red across the 996.1 & 996.2

Not knocking the Boxster, but the two cars are utterly different. Different mission. Different execution. Radically different price point.

Neat, “Early-build” Boxster too! I’m sure those will soar in value as well, if they haven’t already. Boxster is a wonderful car.

It’s like ammunition. If you have the funds, you buy what you want. But you’re right, this is dumb. Especially since there are still plenty of cars or cars.com that are 1/3rd or 1/2 this price.

And it's even got LSD, a useless option according to bdronsick.

This one is stunning. Maybe sell it to the place in Florida that is asking $60 plus for their coupe.
Gateway Classic.
