As long as "off-road" actually means "dirt road" or "gravel road"

Otherwise, I'll take the Suzuki Samurai

Standard locking differential. $6k MSRP.

Just to bring this thread back on topic. The Cayenne can fit a 996 hood.

I have a 2012 Toe rag TDI and it is fantastic with more features than the Cayenne. Keyless entry/start and heated steering wheel are two standouts.

Last 3 996s failed to meet the reserve

The big R word is looming. Although I saw the unemployment rate is at 3.6%, which would seem to drive inflation. There could be an undercurrent in the specialty car market that is depressing prices, if they are. Stock market selloff most certainly isn't helping.
Wow! Maybe I can be an analyst on CNBC...

A Cayenne can also fit a 996 Aerokit bumper (I took it for paint estimates today).

Yeah speculation is all over the place right now. Some folks say the market's not even crashing and others are already in their bunkers.

The Black C4S was suspect to me. The initial $40k had all the familiar traits of a shill bid, too. Especially out of Vegas.

Seems like the market has cooled significantly at least for right now. Helped me decided to not sell my 996.

I was just joking. There was a long discussion very recently in this thread about how Cayenne Diesels walk on water.

I average 30mpg with some mixed street driving. They only come AWD, weigh almost 5k lbs and tow 7,715lbs... now imagine a gas powered midsized SUV that can do that any cheaper.

Want to see where the 996/997 market is heading watch the Speed Yellow Mezger:

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...-cabriolet-87/

Like all Classic gens prior, after two or three decades the 911 market specializes, investors become savvy, and trends solidify

IE:
Black 964 Cab Tip? $35K
Mint-Green 964 Manual Coupe? $350K
Mint-Green 964 Turbo S? $1M+

None of these prices is either inflated or crashed

So, a Cayenne can fit a 966 in it, albeit, one part at a time.
