Agreed the AE must be 100% stock for “all the money” on BaT. Anything else is a dice roll

Sell the mods here already folks are begging for the bits and pieces.

It’s a limited production car so “not modified” is what people want to see.

Good points.

Sorry about listing the alignment. My intent was to show lowered and aligned to Euro 6GT3 specs. I thought the lowered part might be of interest.

As for mods, they are are 2004 factory bits and could be ordered added to your car at the time. It makes it a one off car.

Thanks for all the comments.

What thoughts on price as is vs I bring it back to stock?

I wont put it up without a reserve so I am curious

Reasons for selling is 7 years 6k miles added to this car. Its one of 9 in the fleet and I'm thinking I will move on to a 997 GT3 to replace this toy

Nothing is a “one off car” unless it was ordered and delivered from the factory in such a configuration. Mods/changes can add value to a few buyers, but put off a larger percentage and are a net detriment as a result in almost all cases when talking about market value (with limited exceptions)

In an auction scenario, stock will appeal to the widest audience in the shortest time. Return the car to stock. If you’re willing to wait it out, list it in a straight sale format elsewhere and wait for the guy/gal that really wants that particular set of modifications and will appreciate them

I’m personally a guy that enjoys a car that already has the “must have” mods paid for by a previous owner, but they just attract me to the car, they don’t get me to pay up much over what I’d pay for a dead stock car in the same condition

edit: I love your car

Yikes! I can't stop driving my 40AE and am up to 13k miles in the first year but I suppose with 9 cars that's a job. 997 GT3 will be a damn fine upgrade so in this case I fully support the move. Best of luck with the sale and finding a worthy replacement. Hope you find time to drive it more!

Everything will be fine so long as yoga pants stick around. Well...., to an extent...., some really put those things through a stress test.

Three things that never lie, kids, drunks, and yoga pants.
