3 of them in great shape, driver side rear is bent. It is balanced but with a lot of weight. Should I refurbish this wheel?? There is a huge place that that’s all they do here in Houston, my
concer would be since it is a hollow that they would mess it up some way some how. Thanks for your advice.

I'm just pointing out that deals can still be found if you're quick as I said before

Be an interesting one to watch. The final price will tell us if the modified cars from "big-name" tuning shops are in demand.
This calls into question if a 996 Carerra with a rebuilt engine by LN, FSI, Hartech or another reputable engine builder will fetch a higher price. I suspect over time it will, but have nothing to base it on.

I've seen modified BMWs from big name companies like Alpina/Hartge/Dinan sell for big bucks there so I think the 996 will follow.

Logically, since a rebuild will cost between 20-30k, and eventually all 996s will need a rebuild, it would make sense to pay a premium knowing you will have another 20+ years of operation. But what about a rebuild by a reputable engine builder that also boosts performance by 80-100 HP? Should be even more.

#408’s are the rarest 911 wheels for generations, and lightest 18” wheels Porsche ever offered. Only the new 22” carbon fiber Turbo S wheels are lighter (by only a few ounces) and they cost $28K!
Whatever you do keep those wheels with that car. That’s a six-figure+ hand you’re holding right there. 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑
