I have not yet had the opportunity to toss it around in the corners , but so far seat of the pants meter says they are good to go, and yes, they are the Koni " special active" if that was your question. Feels better in the roundabouts, and the few rough roads I've driven on to date (maybe 50 miles)
I must add, I put new tires on as well, so, lot's of changes.
Thanks for clarifying. Anything is better than what is on there now. 101k miles, stabilizer link joints all gone, front shock bearings were dry and LOTS of brake dust.

Yogi, someone may have a slightly used suspension for sale. May save you a few bucks.
Some of you may already know what’s going on with my C2 but for those of you who don’t I bought an eBay Porsche and have been restoring it on my YouTube channel.
Currently I’m completely refreshing the suspension front and rear. I’m going with Koni Active Shocks and Meyle/TRW for the arms and linkages. Lots of dirt but nothing too bad. I decided to repack them upper strut bearings, as they’re completely dry, instead of replacing them. The bump stops were strangely missing from all four shocks. The ABS/Brake sensor harnesses were also completely rotted away. That was not cheap to replace. Fun times.
yogi, how did the upper strut mounts look? Guy who owned my turbo before me gave $6k to an Indy to “rebuild” the front suspension because it rattled over bumps. Shop replaced everything except the upper strut mounts and bump stops. 500 miles later he sold it to me. Front end still rattled over bumps. I took it apart and discovered one of the mounts had completely separated rubber from steel. Replaced and not more rattles.
Looks like we're all working on the front end. Front right wheel bearing started to make more and more noise. Left front outer CV boot tore on my last autocross. And both of my front diff seals are leaking. Since I am this far, might as well change shocks and springs. Going to go with Bilsteins PSS10's. Also changing out control arms and tie rods.

Mine made horrible noises. Rattles, knocks and creaks.
The upper strut mounts were ok, my problem looks like very worn linkages and the upper bearings were dry as a bone. So I cleaned and repacked the bearings and am replacing everything but the carrier.
Im currently waiting on bump stops, replacement bolts for rusted out rotor screws and light leveling sensor. Finally my ABS/Brake wear wiring harnesses should be here tomorrow. The latter crumbled in my hands. They were not cheap.
Received new wheel to replace cracked wheel. I bought a set of GT3 wheels, but somehow missed this. Doh!!!! Now it's all good.
Won't need to spend money getting rid of the curb rash
And, my car is alive and well in Georgia! Woohoo!
It looks taller than it was, so after engine break-in, the priority will be to FINALLY put these cool things on.
The big problem is refinishing the GT3 wheels. What color? Anthracite? White? Black? I'm stuck. Maybe I'll get them done in silver and use the 17" wheels to experiment with color. What color is the fastest?
Turns out I lost all wheel weights from my driver front wheel and the vibration at highway speeds was no bueno so full 4 wheel balance happened this morning. Radial Tire is a local favorite for PCA members and they took care of the issue quickly.

good thing it is liked by PCA members… could be mistaken for a chop-shop😜
Don't let the looks fool you They manage quite few track cars and there was a crap load of new and used Hoosiers all over with other slick tires. I knew they were good when they used a torque wrench on my wheels. Surprisingly few shops do that.

Hah just literally finished! Didn't think I'd need to do this for street driving but I stand corrected. Covered the silver tape with black to keep my OCD in check
