Will be going to the shop to apply a uv film.

Damn, the new lights are soooooo good. Love that “rainbow” effect from the new plastic.

Put on windshield visor from Rennline - I hate installing stuff like this but it turned out pretty good.

Wow that's a pricey fix for a simple yellow lens issue, but definitely a nice upgrade. Did you get the retro-fit kit or just the litronic headlights themselves? Did you consider just doing an HID upgrade?

I got a great deal thus why I pull the trigger. Sanding and applying coating works but nothing like a brand new headlight lens plus I want an actual hid projector. Currently putting a llumar flim on the headlights while it’s nice and fresh. I will see how much I can get from the used headlights. At the end of the day, my difference should be around $650-700 usd without the flim cost.

Have not look into the retrofit to get all the function to work. Most likely won’t do it depending how long I will be keeping the car.

Unboxed the Aero Kit i bought. All this in one box. Definitely not mint, but given how hard it has been to get even the Taco spoiler, I was thrilled to find everything from one person.

Must have been a big box. What carrier was kind enough to bless you with that?

Old Dominion. The seller made the box out of a couple of smaller boxes duct taped together. He was kind enough to do it even though he originally only wanted to sell locally. I have been looking for a while and never dared hope for a complete kit but got lucky I guess.

^^^ Great score... I've never been a fan of the Taco (or really any of the rear "wings") but to get a complete factory aero-kit is rare indeed! I've been trying to find a set of good used side skirts forever... Is your car silver as well?

Yes it is but I will likely have them painted anyway. There are some irregularities that will need to be addressed which will likely result in painting eventually. Still happy to have the foundation to build on.

Pulled the rear window regulator and rebuilt it with a kit.

Complete pain in the *** since the window got stuck in the down position.

Also replaced the battery with an Optima yellow.

Installed a Schnell Short Shift kit with a round shifter that I installed a Momo shift **** on. The shifts are definitely shorter and it all feels crisp sitting in my garage but I had two beers During the install so saving the test drive for the morning.

sounds like pain. I don’t know what is involved but I wish I don’t ever have to do that.

Went for a drive today, battery is starting to go so that will get replaced this week. Also pulled out the parcel shelf of the hardtop to clean it and the glass before it goes on for the winter. Looks a lot better, was surprised how easy it was, just 6 clips to pop out.
