thanks man, there’s a lot I want to do, while trying not to go broke in the process lol. In the last year we got married, got a boat, got a house which my wife and I are slowly but fully renovating ourselves nights and weekends, (I am a carpenter/contractor, my wife a designer), and now got my 911, so consider this proverbial plate FULL and this wallet EMPTY lol. Driving this car is my short escape from reality and I am ever so grateful for it.
I’m a contractor too and the Porsche is the only car that fits into one of the three bays. Did manage to carve out some additional space. The daily drivers needed brakes and we finally took some time for vacation before the kids go back to school. So not much in the budget right now for more work. Still, it’s running well with no issues at the moment with just preventative work on the horizon.

i agree with you a ton. Driving this car takes me to a different time and place. I just listen to the engine, shift and go. I sold my last manual car a 1985 M635CSI in 2015. Since January when I got this car it has been nothing but making an excuse to drive. We are in vacation in Corpus Christi now but honestly I can’t wait till we get back home to drive the car again. I have put over 6,000 miles since January. Mine isn’t a garage queen. Well anyway I’m getting the coolers loaded with ice etc for a beach day, I’m going to rent a jet ski, it’s not a Porsche but it will do, only till Friday.

Me 3, contractor too. My poor work truck needs some serious attention and i have had rear shocks for the wifes grooming van on the shop floor fot 2 months.

specialized trade or GC? I’m a finish carpenter but also GC, although I’m transitioning back to just installing, GC life ain’t for me I’m afraid. Been on my own for almost 7 yrs and every time I GC a larger project I curse myself and say never again.
Electrical, gas piping and generators. Army of one. The work truck needed brakes and wanted to try powerstop but couldn’t get them because of production problems. Went back to ford pads and rotors which won’t last. Wife’s needed brakes too, so there went $2k. Stopping is a good thing though.
I would have guessed that the car had the ceramic treatment. Nice! Black is a hard color to keep up with.
Thanks! I can’t take too much credit for it, I only got the car less than 2 months ago. It was dirty when it got delivered but paint in decent shape. Needed slight compounding, polishing then sealed, waxed. Nothing crazy.
I am *almost* positive my car has been partially resprayed, if not fully, as there are dirt nibs and stuff in the clear coat that have been sanded and buffed…once you have the eye for that stuff you can NEVER get rid of it - blessing and a curse. I was bummed at first but, From 5 feet the car looks brand new though so overall I’m happy.
