lol. I sort of resemble this stereotype. Except with a Raptor 6.2l. I’ll play/push a little when I come across my brethren. Amazing truck. Sounds better and has been called the Gt3 of trucks back in it’s day...
I have a regular 2019 super crew stx with the 2.7 ecoboost. I feel sorry about all raptor owners for $40,000 the lightning will smoke all of them, I really like the fact on the lightning that you can use the front as a trunk and that you are going to be able to power your house with it. I’ll not get it right Away I want them to make sure they work up all the kinks, but sounds like a possibility in the future, specially if Uncle Sam provides a special electric vehicle incentive.

There is no way the lightning will be $40k! The way truck prices and electric car prices are going it will be double that!

That’s an awesome truck. I’ve considered getting one but parking space is a bit hard to come by at my house until my oldest moves out and takes the Mustang with him.
By the time he moves out we’ll have to get a car for my youngest.
I think she needs a Raptor or a WRX, or a 944 or a...
I need to move some place with a HUGE garage so I can buy more toys.
I get the big super-trucks wanting to play on the NJ Turnpike all the time. Got the last laugh when one guy flew past me only to be pulled over by a State Trooper few miles ahead. Made sure to dropdown a few gears when I passed him being written up on the side of the road, didn't want him to think I forgot about him.

this 2011 is the antithesis of the Lightning.
I haven’t even pulled my Targa out from under the covers yet. I’ve traveled all the local b roads for thousands of miles in the Porsche. Gravel roads and two tracks have piqued my interest and I am starting to explore with the Raptor. I am having as much fun tearing down a washed out dirt road at 80mph with ease, as I do hitting triple digits on tarmac in the Targa.
on topic:
just put full coverage back on for summer today.

.
thank you.
I specifically bought a supercab so it fits in my garage.😎
my daughter will be getting her license hopefully in 3 weeks. It was the impetus to getting another vehicle for me. She’ll get to drive the Volvo xc. But all 5’-0” of her has driven the raptor....

I really don't think you do. The Raptor is in a different league than what I'm talking about, it's an amazing truck. A couple of my friends have them.

Ford officially announce the price at under $40. I bet most will likely be spec at $45. Anyway the pictures are from a 2021 Supercrew lariat. The big difference is that righ know both Ford and dealers are not offering any incentives. Ford finance has always offered an incentive if you finance with them, I have used it three times and have gotten as much as
$2,500 off the price, yes after a couple of payments I refinance at my credit union.

The original paint of my 2/98 coupe has been treated with 303 products graphene coating, I liked it so much I did my 2019 F 150 and my wife’s amg. Anyway, it’s not cheap but I loved the results. Now I am going to test durability, they claim 1 year, I don’t know, let’s see how long it last on this Texas weather. I used to work selling and formulating these kind of products for professional detailers and car dealers at a commercial level. I’m really impress with this product specially when someone quoted $800 for a ceramic coat, 5 year warranty with a once a year reapplication. My 996 had taken me back to all the stuff I used to do with my cars when I was in my thirties, I just turned 53 and it is like a new hobby obsession for me.
This stuff works on glass
and wheels.
Funny. When I was younger (I am 70 this year) I used to devote hours a week to my various cars (TR250, MGB, '57 Chevy, 300ZX Turbo). My current Outback hadn't seen a wash rag in years! Just bought my first P ('00 996 C2) and wash it every time it's out and about. Not sure how to wax etc - everything has changed. But it's like going back in time.

I understand this pricing is the "commercial" vehicle price (no bells and whistles??). The retail price will be much higher.

There are a lot of easy wax products out there. The easiest would be a wax as you dry, basically after you rinse the car you spray a little bit of this product and as you dry it is wax. There are others that after you dry you spray apply to a light haze and then take off with a microfiber towel. Some of the turtle 🐢 wax ceramic are great, try the spray this will be easiest. Enjoy your new ride.
