Doing the injector thing too. Not a lot of fun, not much room to work. Did it without dropping the motor or removing all that much other than moving hoses out of the way and SAI pump and air filter. Most of the day.

Mine has stiff spring installed by PO. I’m wonder what stock feels like.

Mine happened pre-IPD install.
Tested the AOS with the Manometer and the diaphragm is fine.

Well I’m not sure how a stiff spring would feel. But, mine was feeling too light before I replaced it. I think a stiff spring would be annoying and unnecessary for a 300hp car. However, If mated to a springless friction plate then it will give the illusion the car has more power than it does.

would have been impossible for this 51yr old without removing the seat.

Default Finished the Feal 441 installation on

my 2001 C4 with my brother today. Good day over all around. Feels really tight and great control side to side and under braking. Still pretty comfortable left at the 15/30 setting. We definitely had some challenges along the way but it

was a first attempt for me and second for my brother (on a TT). We were surprised that the alignment also seemed fine, pulling just a little left and that was at highway speed. I will still get a professional alignment. Great improvement. Can’t wait to really get into it. I am obviously not a photojournalist. But anyway, a good day.

All the talk lately about clutch pedal springs, and test driving a 2004 996 C2 on Saturday that had a much lighter pedal than mine, I decided to see why my pedal is so heavy.
Here’s the reason:

I ordered a new one.
I figured my old knee will thank me when I go back to daily driving...someday.

Weird, removing the clutch booster spring was one of my favorite changes to the car.

Here is how mine looked once it failed...

I didn't mind the heavy feeling clutch when driving aggressively and shifting quickly but it wasn't the best feeling to deal with in traffic.

Yes, but my knee is getting old, and daily driving is getting tougher.

I finally got to hear some Fisters, with catless x-pipe on Saturday.
It sounds much more raw than my Fabspeed Maxflow mufflers.
I REALLY liked how it sounds!
Now I'm tempted to trade my Fabspeed Maxflows for some Fisters.
