Thanks for your response and I would never put them on soft, I'd probably set them at 25 and see what the ride and cornering is like. I don't take the car the to the track but I love winding roads and love to drive the car hard thru the turns. Thanks again, I value your response.

No prob. At 25 clicks you’d be on the right track with the Feals!

I am at 23 front and 25 rear with Feals spring, love the handling and ride.

I replaced my broken clutch pedal helper spring.
(It has been broken since I bought my 996)
I'm going to have to get used to the MUCH lighter clutch pedal feel.
This will do wonders for my aging knee, and maybe my wife will enjoy driving my 996 now.
She has only driven it 3 times in almost 4 years of ownership.
I may lose some clutch feel, but at least this should stop my Tiptronic swap thoughts.
Since I'm in line for a F6I rebuild, I'd decided to not swap to a Tiptronic 996, but it still nagged in the back of my head until I got a chance to drive @Z996Z's 996 and realized I HAD to replace my helper spring.
Also Z996Z got me wanting to swap my Fabspeed Maxflows for Fisters.
I may stick with my Fabspeed due to the cost, but WOW are his Fisters nice to listen to...I think he has a radio, but I don't know why.

That's where mine are set too.
If you want a nice stiff but not TOO stiff setting, that's it.
I dial mine down a touch when my wife is going to be in the car.
The kids, and other occupants, have to deal with the stiffer 23/25 settings.

BTW, do you have the Feal springs, or the Swift springs?

Ordered a case of DT40 from LN and went for a beer run with wife this afternoon while the sun was out and the weather good. Fisters sound good.

A bit behind the 8 ball here, but I have to say, this looks fantastic. Curious to see what the car looks like now.

How did you like that smoke machine? I was looking at the Stinger but they've gone up significantly in price the last few months.

It works as advertised. It looks like it was assembled from off the shelf parts that probably cost less than $50 but I didn't mind paying $100 for someone else to source the parts, assemble it and ship it to me.

The weather was finally over 50* so i finally got to drive my car after the engine out maintainence. I got a nice 25mile ride in after work. Everything seems to be good. No more start up rattle, oil leaks look fixed and all the new parts r working well together.

the only bad thing is the new oil pressure sender is reading lower then the old one. Not really worried about it becsuse at 200k miles i figure its probably correct but ill verify it off the dme or just swap the sensor again.

hopefully ill get a couple hundred miles on it before my first hdpe day april 3.
