Ordered a set of fuel injectors, a 997 GT3 shifter, replacement metropol blue front carpets, and a couple of odd trim pieces. Also dropped my 4s off to have the front differential replaced. Just need to order my UAOS and my spending will be done for the time being.

Yesterday I finally fixed my windshield washer. It was spraying into the driver wheel well. Probably the easiest thing that I have done on this car so far, pulled the fender liner back, and the hose had just popped off the fitting going thru the strut tower. A zip tie holds it now, and finally can clear the windscreen of the huge amounts of pollen we have here right now. Also yesterday I ordered some replacement parts from Sub Zero's part out thread, door lock being one, along with an SAI pump to clear my CEL.
Always seems to be something..but thats okay, she's worth it

I may take you up on that when I get around to installing these headers. I'm sure a few of the 205k mile studs will break. The engine will be out of the car at that point though, doing a bunch of PM stuff so it wont be horrible..I hope.

Ordered new tires yesterday. Michelin PS4S 235/40 285/35. Found out I could save a decent amount by making the purchase on the local Navy base. Michelin is also running a $120 rebate until 4/5. All in for under a grand including balancing and alignment. Hopefully get them on late next week.

I retrieved my car from winter storage today.

I had forgotten what an intensely mechanical experience driving the 996 is. The engine is gruff at low speeds and a howling banshee when you wind it out, there's all kinds of whirring and clatter, the steering responds to the lightest twitch, the suspension jars but remains composed. A truly thrilling car.

That's what I run, and in the same sizes.
I'm very happy with how they perform.
I wish they made the PS4S in 295/30R18.

Nice!
That's similar to what I have, except mine are black.
I'm very happy with mine!

I'm actually itching to try these tires in the future and the 35 is appealing to me. Like a bit more sidewall. The OZ look very similar in deed! I was torn between silver and anthracite for the wheels and decided on the darker finish to contrast better against the GT Silver paint on the car. Should have them on tomorrow!

What brand are those wheels?
Good choice on the anthracite IMHO.

Apex. https://www.apexraceparts.com/our-wh...tion-sm10.html They are a sponsor here and offer a great wheel option at a good price. They seem to be very popular with the track crows and BMW owners.
