What did you do to your 996 today?

While not at all practical, we jammed all of our gear in the car and had an absolute blast driving it this weekend to a lacrosse tournament across the state. It was beautiful, and on the way home had to run with the top up because we were both sunburned. Some great back road driving and created some awesome memories!

I just did this with my hockey and lacrosse gear. Lacrosse tournament two weekends ago and a hockey game to close the weekend. It's incredible I can fit my hockey bag in the truck with the lacrosse bag in the back with 4 sticks and a suitcase.

Took tires to the shop to get mounted (yesterday). Should be able to bring one good one home today...
Need to get 17" wheels for this car. Should reduce the risk of tire damage. Will also allow me to mount and balance using my own equipment.

I considered that...but...there are two additional rows of parking behind me in the shot with the same types of trees. Then open spaces adjacent to and along the office building behind me. And if you look towards the pond fountain, there are about 20+ parking spaces in full shade 20 feet away. This person was just being a total jerk.

lol, I feel your pain. A few years ago I parked in the last row at the back of our employee lot where nobody (and I mean NOBODY) parks. I had a planter on one side and a solar panel roof post on the other and figured I had a nice buffer zone.
The other thing that got me about this pic is how small an '80s 5 series looks next to a modern car.

Well yes, here is my 968 a few months ago. Parked all alone, and then viola a neighbor appeared. But like the above, it was probably the availability of shade from the trees.
