that is at The Ridge In Shelton, WA. ironically, after inspecting the image closely it is exactly where my engine blew up two years ago on a long right hand sweeper.

Very cool, some things happen for a good reason. I am headed to Putnam Park Indiana this coming weekend for a Ky PCA event. Fresh oil and fingers crossed!
-Replaced frunk shocks, now the frunk literally lifts itself!
-Replaced driver side seat belt adjuster
-Replaced sticky radio *****
-Aligned center caps with valve stems
-Installed PCA sticker
How did you do that? I thought those were really hard to replace or put back on.
Not especially challenging: there are lots of trim bits that need to come off, but otherwise it isn't a tricky job. You have to disassemble and reassemble the top mounting cover parts in a particular order, but it is well documented on the internet (I think it was here on Rennlist).
Going to finish my paint correction and ceramic coating today. Started it about a week ago. Wash, clay bar, two stage paint correction and C-Quartz ceramic coating. I can see why some shops charge up to $2K for this. I'm into this at least 20 hours. I'm sure a seasoned pro could do it in half the time. I'll post some pics if it ever stops raining.

I always get a kick when people try to argue its not worth the price. While pro line coatings are a bit more expensive than the consumer versions 99% of the work is in the prep, its a lot of labor to get to the point the coating is ready to apply.

I only noticed the cover was missing after I bought the car and it wasn't anywhere to be found on the floor. So I bought a replacement, $85 from Sunset. Expensive, but the naked adjuster bugged me and occasionally snagged my shirt so I just bought a new one. Just pry the old one off and pop the new one on. 5 minutes. I'm sure Porsche recommends replacement vs. repair because they did the math on the time it takes for a tech to put one back together and the the time it takes to replace with a new one and decided that was more economical.

If you know how to do it, it is a 3 minute job. No slower then just replacing it, unless the original part was damaged.
