Sept 30th? Wow! That'll be a quick one - you must have gotten a "lucky slot"... In any case, whenever you get it back you're gonna luv it! Which build did you opt for again?
secondary ? New MPSC2's ? What were you impressions , Mine seem to take a lap or 2 to generate heat, but once they are, they stay consistent until done lapping. Not great for autoX but DE's etc. they are tough to beat actual treadwear usage.
I got 2-3 more DE days than Hooisers, Toyo's, which seem to get greasy 12-15 laps into session..
I have a Micheln guide for Tire pressures and Suspensions settings somewhere. I'll see if I can find it.
Regarding the Sport Cup 2s, very happy. My only other track tire was the Hankook RS4 which I also thought was great. RS4 had good wear, mostly predictable, just not enough grip at the max (mainly due to tire sizes). The 235/295 stagger of the Sport Cup 2s is really fantastic, very balanced. I am still getting used to the lower pressures (must be under 35 hot, 31~32 is the target).
Sooner or later, want to try the 245/305 or 315 stagger that others are running, just haven’t done the research yet.
Please let me know your tire size/pressure experiences!
This airbox has been kicking around my house for a couple months while waiting for my car to come home with its new FSI/Raby power plant...I couldn’t remember where it was for a few days, then remembered that I had moved it to the shed...When I finished bleeding my brakes on Tuesday night I popped it in there... Looks so much better than the stock 3.4 airbox 😃
Did you have to reposition the secondary air pump?
I spent the morning swapping out the HVAC compressr hub/bearing//Pulley/ magnet/clutch. I now have a vibrating line in the passenger front fender well I’m trying to quiet down. Always something.
Did you have to reposition the secondary air pump?
^^ No - I didn’t even try it with the included snorkel... I just swapped the stock snorkel from the 3.4 airbox. Fits perfect no problems, no repositioning the sai
Post IMSS install started it on the lift and looked and listened to my very expensive non performance mod on my beautiful 996 AE. Replaced RMS and AOS so watched for leaks.
Glad to report dry as a bone after a month in the desert.

Im assuming AOS is alot easier to get to if youre in there to do the IMS/Clutch/RMS? Collecting parts for my IMS job and figured i'd add the AOS to the list if it makes sense.
