In a timely effort to get back to the plot:
Brand new door glass from Porsche being repaired for a second time after the rail fell off the bottom after operating. Windscreen etch and matching adhesive cured in the sunshine finally resolved the problem.
Marc fitting the door glass and sorting out the heated seat wiring.
Passenger seat in place.
Back from the MOT test (passed of course!), quick oil level adjustment and then it was off for a testdrive and ecu remap.

OK, OK, I get the message. Good grief!
Now, would all you opinionated onlookers who have nothing better to do than measure badges now care to come down here and tell Marc to move the badge?
I mean, it's not like he hasn't got enough on his plate repairing the erratic central locking module, rewiring the Hifi, fixing the door window (for the second time), getting the car MOT'd, taking the car for a dyno remap, fixing the rattle from the rear view mirror.......
Your call RP, should he finish the car or move the badge?

of course Marc should focus to finish the car, it has absolute priority. If you read my previous post i wrote : "we will position them together on Monday " I'm the one who will drive 1.500 miles with the car through Europe so i need a reliable car. This is what counts.

A high speed test session in the sunshine at our local airfield brought about a nice photo opportunity. At just 1340kg (sub 2950lb including 1/2 tank of fuel) with remapped engine running over 300hp 9m93 Speedster #3 is definitely no sluggard.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!

Great weather, great looking car and great numbers! Thanks Colin and Marc ! Just checked the weight of the 997 speedster : 1.540 kg. It's a huge difference! I won't change my speedywhite for it.

Breathtaking, Arpad
IIRC, 1 of America's best enablers was imported for a road trip -- SpeedyWhite's commencement ceremony.
Please share graduation photos
Not long ago, SpdyWhite was a youngster entering school, when I shared about her in 2009 on the "Speedster type 993 photo thread."
LUV to see her on the roads now, a productive member of society; all grown up & making the world a more beautiful place, one Speedster at a time!
No affiliation. Just sharing in case it helps anyone in any way.
Some serious enthusiasts have relayed their desire to convert a 993 to a Speedster.
In the off chance you find it helpful, especially to someone in Europe:

#4 is already in build; it's a RHD car based on a 8000 mile donor convertible that myself and Marc bought a few months ago.
Our current thoughts on colour vary between Blue Turquoise, Continental Orange and Speed Yellow, I guess we will just have to have an arm wrestle to decide when the shell is ready for paint?
