+1 on all accounts!

Very nicely done!

Thanks guys, appreciate your kind words.

One thing to note in these photos is the design detail of the correct speedster rear bulkhead which is completely different to the standard convertible item. Looking at the design with the hood in place on the shell, it is obvious that the additional centre cutout (with revised crossmember) is required to provide adequate clearance for the hood when it is stowed under the hump. Compare this to the compromised hood frame mounting notches which have been added on the other conversion: the notches may locate the hood frame in the right place but will not provide enough space for proper sound deadening and carpet when assembled.

Since the photos were taken this morning, Lee has been really pressing on with the seam sealing, hopefully I'll be able to update the thread with another photo of his handiwork tomorrow.

The car has been seam sealed inside and 'stone-chip' protected under the arches - so now doors on, and the wings fitted!

... or maybe Classic Grey with a contrasting pair of dark grey stripes, matching ducktail and a cocoa brown interior?

The last photo above shows nearly all of the 9m Panelcraft team, Marc "the guru" on the right, Neil "the painter" behind the car and Lee "the finger" on the left. Marc is my business partner & has been perfecting his bodywork skills for over 20 years; Neil is another 911 enthusiast who has his own place & helps us with the hardcore painting when we are busy; Lee does most of the essential but routine work in the shop, in this case he had been going around the seams rubbing sealant into the gaps with his finger for 2 days. Without the full 9m team obviously none of this would be possible.

Tough decision. I 'm partial to Grey, Blues, and Silver however you could always spill open a bag of Nestle Smarties or a bag of M&M's and see what great Porsche colors come out in the greatest number. M&M's do come in silver, grey, and ivory as well. Classic Ivory (Reutter 738-Porsche 6204) with a Cocoa fabric top and deep red leather interior could be nice. Aetna (740-6003) and Adria (509-5410) blue are also nice.
