9 Mag's Cover Feature + Centerfold
Rennlist team effort, FTW!
RLer eShaun made a pitch to 9 Magazine; they couldn't resist his photography - boyz got skillz Expect more of his art in future issues.
RLer AlpinaDvl's black C2S stole the show; pics alone can't capture his 993s' thunderous rumble.
Shaun-- Huge thanks! Great things happen when RLers get together & have fun...

Issue's well-designed: Seinfeld & Butzi Porsche's below cars are the rear book-end, preceded by a "Porsche Exclusive" article honoring the division's 25th anniversary; with 993 Turbo S photo + more exotics.
'Exclusive' produced F.A. Porsche's 993 Speedster, & converted Jerry's 993 to a Speedster.

Thanks again for the kind words Jäger. It's always a pleasure to get together with a few Porsche friends and see our passions and hard work captured in print. Looking forward to receiving my copy soon!

Thanks, Ted! IIRC, you got a 'Speedy' look at her in the flesh, too? Hope to spend more time with you & your ride next time
You deserve that & more, Shaun.
Until that arrives, I just e-mailed a high-resolution PDF that will satisfy

Thanks, guys!
9 Magazine built on eShaun's fine photography with a great layout, then added 'Exclusive' content.
Makes sense: individual mags sell for $6, but their subscription price is currently $14 (six issues).
9 Mag's editor said they'll start subscription with this (Feb) issue, but best to try to spell that out if you subscribe.
No business affiliaton, but it's cool to see that they seem to dig RLer's rides & putting 993s on the cover ... where they belong

Butzi's on factory display: March 1 - April 30th (tentative)
Thanks to a letter to the editor of 9 Magazine sent directly from Porsche A.G.'s Exclusive division, I've learned that
F.A. "Butzi" Porsche's 1995 is scheduled to be on special, plublic display at the factory's museum all of March & April!
I implore RLers who can get there to please take plenty of pix for the rest of us!
Here's an Adobe PDF scan, mentioning the "25 Years of Porsche Exclusive Event."
The letter's a result of 9 Magazine's feature on the rare 1994 Turbo S 'Flachbaus' <--- link to PDF scan.
Sharing a new shot of Butzi's beauty I haven't seen on RL:

^^^Jerry S has a factory '94 Turbo 'Slopenose' as well (of course he does!:-) I know this because he and Sam C. drove it to the L.A. Toy and Lit show last year and, as they do with all v.i.p. cars, it was parked in the portico driveway out front along with a number of other 'specials' that arrived that day for the show. I'd seen one at a PCA event in '94 but I'd forgotten how beautiful they were ...

Remember again when you stop by the museum for us & get some shots of a Slopenose & Butzi's 993 Speedster
Anyone know if the '25 Years of Porsche Exclusive Event' mentioned in the above letter to 9 Magazine will be in a new area, or if they'll move this 993 Turbo & her friends?

^^^ The best way to see that display is from the Christophorus dining room, over a rare steak and a plate of sauteed mushrooms .... just sayin' .....

I was admittedly already impressed with 9 Magazine due to their interest in featuring RLer's projects, 993s (& especially their current cover car ), plus reporting Porsche AG's latest.
Talk about staying on top of the latest Porsche news:
Since yesterday's above posts about the museum's planned '25 Years of Porsche Exclusive Event,' 9 Mag's put the following on their website today.
How's that for instant feedback?! Wow
Now we just need you or other RLers to take photos of Butzi's '95 Speedster; doubt I'll make it there

9Magazine.com's "25th Anniversary of Porsche Exclusive:"
New special exhibition at the Porsche Museum from 1st March to 1st May 2011
Stuttgart, Mar. 1, 2011 - The Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, museum is marking a special anniversary with a new special exhibition: In 1986 Porsche was the world’s first car manufacturer to set up a specialist customization department: Porsche Exclusive. For the past quarter century, Porsche customers have been able to have their vehicle refined to their own individual wishes. For the first time, the Porsche museum will be showcasing the Exclusive specialists’ craftsmanship skills at the “25 years of Porsche Exclusive” special exhibition from 1st March to 1st May 2011.
Visitors will be shown unique and rare special models: In addition to a Porsche 911 Turbo S 3.6, which in 1997 was the first Porsche series production sports car to break the 186 mph barrier, the museum is also exhibiting one of only two Porsche 911 Speedsters in the world dating from 1995. A further highlight of the special exhibition is a gold coloured Porsche 959 that was once extensively modified for a member of an Arab royal family, being equipped among other things with gold plated tailpipes. Also on show will be present day Exclusive special models, such as the Porsche 911 Speedster – a homage to the legendary 356 Speedster, which entered the annals of automotive history as the dream car of the 1950s.
The Porsche Museum is using the anniversary exhibition as an opportunity to extend its tour programme. Visitors have the opportunity of experiencing the special exhibition as part of a short 30 minute guided tour at a cost per head of four Euros. The museum shop will also be offering a selection of special articles for sale: The book “25 years of Porsche Exclusive” dedicates over 200 pages to the topic of “Ex works individuality”. The reader is acquainted with the most interesting, beautiful and spectacular vehicle projects. The spectrum ranges from the customised Porsche 356 via the legendary 911 Turbo “slant nose” to the high end 911 for royal customers from the Middle East. The book is available in German and English from the Porsche Museum shop at 14.90 euros.

Jäger...slightly OT - What, if any, modification was necessary to affix front license plate on the grill of the euro bumper on your speedster? Looking to do the same. Thanks
