^^^did you notice the small 'chips' in the leather on the drivers door panel and pull handle? I think it is patina from one of the smaller members of the Porsche family ...

Photographed today, driving back from Santa Fe, NM, where I spent all of Memorial Day weekend.

The lower flag serves to remind of America's prisoners of war / missing in action. Both at half-staff:

Perfect Speedy weekend -- sky seemed more blue, trees & grass greener. Add the snow-topped mountains & making new friends = some of the best drives in my life!

The Butzimobile's interior is gorgeous; wood, tip, and all. Just like the exterior, understated but stunning.

No doubt ^^ I didn't realize I could be such a fan of a throughly brown + wood interior, but it works!

RLer mcipsEric & I had the pleasure of casually hanging with Jeff Zwart in SoCal a week ago. Jeff & I have some mutual friends, & everything I learn about him leaves me with more admiration. I respect him greatly: amazingly accomplished driver and cinematographer, plus he gets to do both with some of the most amazing Porsches in the world!

With his below 'sideways' comment, maybe he was thinking of Eric's track talent

Jeff signed this tonight in CO. Forgive the photo of a photo; if I had his camera skills, there wouldn't be such an unfortunately-placed reflection




Shot I took tonight of the reigning Hillclimb Champion driving his secret new weapon. Anyone like to see more?

Eric-- You have no idea how in awe I am of you & your machine for winning the People's Choice award, presented by Jeff!

I didn't initially realize he would be featured at June's Dana Point Concours. As soon as I heard his name on the PA & saw him, I instantly stopped what I was doing & walked straight towards him, like a zombie in a trance.

He's one of ~3 people I consider a personal celebrity and role model (or should I say 'roll model'?)
