Reason to stay away from Porsche Museum!
Reason to stay away from the Porsche Museum!
I wanted to share some pics of a nice 993 turbo at the Porsche museum. The car was unusually optioned with Turbo S style exhaust option and standard leather seats. I took about 10 times as many pictures of the 993 turbo than any other model at the museum. I was in love. These were taken on September 24th. No later than November 12th, I had purchased my first Porsche ever and was driving it 700 miles back to Chicago! A 5 Euro ticket ended up costing much much more! My original plan in Stuttgart was to see the Benz museum but the GF convinced me to check out the Porsche museum as well. I must admit not as thorough as the Benz museum but spectacular nonetheless. I wish I could post all the pics for you guys but it would take forever! I'm pretty sure PCA members get in free, at least I got in free at the Benz museum. Very nice experience. Check out some pics of the V8 hotel. The window view is from the hotel room! Kind of a quirky kitschy hotel but very nice (although I didn't get control of the room A/C ) Hope you guys enjoy.
Bonus link:
Cousin showed me this today I was cracking up, i've never heard of this movie:
In one scene Charlie Sheen refers to a Ferrari 512 as "Italian Trash" and instead prefers to steal Porsches
Possible PCA movie night event?!!

'No Mans Land" one of the most iconic Porsche car theft flicks of all time! The 'chop shop' was shot at
Dave Bizaglio's TRE porsche shop on Chandler and Lankersham blvd in San Fernando valley Studio City..
