That.. too many publicly offered at the same time. Almost feels like an assets dump. IMO. Not all will hit $150.

I’ll grab another one on the flip side in a few months.

$128k for a 58k miles 4S is still good money, let’s be honest. It’s still ~$50k+ higher than FMV from 2 years ago.

Inevitable that numbers should settle down, but values are still going to ending up being a good bit north of where they were pre-COVID.

Factory sport seats, Aerokit, many other options, good color, good paper trail, not high mileage, known seller and pristine car- buyer got a bargain given current pricing..

How was this a known seller? Never heard of them and they never sold a car on bat before, also pics were iffy and no PPi or even paint meter measurements as a commenter mentioned. Buyer got a steal

A couple of things...

Haven't seen an RNM, yet (with the exception of that one with the questionable mods) - tells me there is still demand...this batch of cars should prove either greedy sellers, a saturation of offerings, or, that auction yesterday wasn't a great example of the market conditions.

This White C2S https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1997-porsche-911-66/ will be a better a gauge of market conditions...and then, well, there is this...from a seller that knows what he's doing...and which is already appropriately surging (see first point) https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...carrera-4s-36/.

Based on the peanut gallery thread, the "known" seller in the $128k car apparently is a dealer that had the car on display in his show room?

My take, that $128k result was a combination of a Monday ending, a lack luster presentation and response, and a steal for the buyer....at $133k cost to buyer!

We shall see...

Silver 4s has a grey interior and 6 owners..... might not hit the peak value...
Combined with what appears to be a flooded market... at least this week anyways...
