Sure there are reasons why people covet the 993 but imo, 150 is a lot of money for it. I'm not just picking on the 993 cause there are plenty of other cars sold at WTF prices but the 993 does seem to have one of the larger jumps in valuation. Anyways, enjoy you cars and won't hear from me again.
I am 120% against deleting your post, though I don't agree w/ it.

Your statements are not inappropriate, have no malicious intent or animosity in them; so let's not perpetuate this cancel culture.

Come back and post from time to time. In particular if you ever score another 993.

Well said. So the guy has a different POV and perhaps has had different experiences. I for one JUST bought a low mile 993 C4S, probably for too much money, but I'm cool with it when I view the sunk cost over the next 20 years AND the fact that after 7 other 911's have been and gone I still want dem hips. Cancel culture can jog on.

I agree don't delete the post but let him/her become a paying member and post productive information to the community not bashing over our beloved wide derrière cars. They are finite as someone posted above, never to be built again. Cars are worth what you pay for weather 5k or half a million. Who cares, drive it or look at it like you stole it. Who cares as well. I choose to drive...

His opinion might have worth, somewhere else, but his made up facts have no place here...
I disagree...

That person could have had a better entrance for his first 2 posts. That was ill advised. But I agree in leaving them up so the lesson learned can remain visible.

I have no problem leaving his post up. I don’t expect everyone to think the same. But you come on a Porsche 993 board and say the car is not that good, the response should be expected.

IMO his mistake was justifying his unwillingness to pay current prices to how good he thinks the car is. IMO he just reached the limit he is willing to pay. Should have left it at that. Nothing wrong with reaching your limit. If people didn’t reach their limit, every auction on BAT would still be going. That two minute reset clock would be burned out.

@Gbos1 Finally a 2S to bench against! It's been many months since there was one on BAT.

And a low mileage 993 turbo; I’m always interested to see the delta between NA and turbo.
