Have anybody tried to swap the 4.0L engine of the 991/992 GT3 into a 993? Could be the ultimate NA 993...

Sure, if you want to lose the character of an air cooled 993.

It would perform great but I would have no interest in that myself.

now a 4.0L air-cooled engine, like what they are putting into the singers, that would be badass

clearly you missed the point. I hate Vegan restaurants too but I don’t stop inside of them to broadcast to the vegans that I disapprove.

I mind my own business and I STFU. Just saying.

p.s. my first ever post 20 years ago when I was buying the 993 I proudly still own was a valuation thread.

@B-Line for Sh... and giggles how much did you pay for it in 2001? You can PM me the price if preferred. Great story and I agree with you 911.993%

Keeping in mind, when I bought mine it had depreciated but was still only a few years old. With Porsche Certification and a one year warranty I believe it was $51k.
Arctic Silver/Black
Sport seats
Aerokit II
Motorsound
LSD
BOSE
ALuminum on gauges and shifter
rear windshield wiper
Debadged from factory
Sunroof, CD
Hollow turbo twists
and a couple other options I can't remember.

Got time machine in the back of your garage by any chance? I could use a few trips to 1994 and 1998 respectively.
Enjoy in good health

i agree. that one really came in low and the only sub-$100k WB i can remember recently. i looked over the auction early on and didn't really see anything that would impact the value significantly. just seemed like a average condition, low-average mile example.

it was a dealer car. maybe the rep was not engaged enough? not sure. certainly seems like a decent buy.

^ They were talking about a mileage discrepancy when it went to Canada and back. Don't remember the details but someone thought it was closer to 108k miles but could not be confirmed.
