One of the best videos I’ve seen. It’s really going to help the price; as if the car needs any help.

this will be incredibly interesting. recent auctions would suggest a minimum of $175k and something approaching $200k is not out of the question. this will have quite the audience at auction's end.

It's going to be a clown show. A C4S approaching $200k is going to trigger the nuts in the gallery.

Default I don’t think so

If it was better appointed, sport seats, Litronic lights, and the front bumper cover hadn’t been 4-wheeling over something, maybe $175 for low miles in this current market craziness. Guess we shall see whose crystal ball works.

The wonderful video hides the SUV ride height. Look at that thing bouncing up and down over the bumps like a porpoise...

that's a very low mileage collectible's destiny, but this is in the low 20s leaving 7-8k miles while still remaining in the 20s. this is likely a weekend/event driver that can be driven with the idea of keeping the miles low and value high. the bigger concern (from my pov) becomes the original paint's condition. it must be kept as nice as possible to maintain that collector quality. it certainly becomes a catch-22, though.

If these things stay in the $200k range you will see very few of them on the road. Sure, they’ll show up at local meets etc., but that’s about it. Many Owner’s will be too worried about value loss due to accidental damage etc. I bought my first 97 C2S with 12,500 miles in 2009 for $50,000. I drove it almost every Saturday morning for a couple of hours. By 2015 it was approaching $100k and the thoughts of damaging the original paint were starting to creep in. One Saturday I was about 10 minutes from home on my way back and I was passing a baseball field. I saw the fielder running towards the fence and thought…oh ****! I saw the ball at the last second as it bounced on the road and slammed on the brakes. Luckily, the ball hit me right in the front license plate! A second or two later would have meant a hood, roof or deck lid repair! I drove the car less frequently after that.

psychologically, i see ~6k - 6.5k being the number of miles through any 10k mile block where you start thinking of the car as being the next age... if that makes sense.

of course you could do what i did (completely by accident) about 10 minutes after taking ownership of my 993 back in 2012 and hit the trip odometer on the way home to see how many miles it is. learned about the little plastic gear on day one.

I'm going to buck the trend and say this one is $155k tops; perhaps closer to $150k (before BaT fees).

I think you’re in the right ballpark. If it was a 2S or had Aerokit or hardback sports, maybe more. But I think $155k seems like a reasonable price for a nicely kept blk/blk
